Georgetown Geeks & Gamers

Our Mission: To Bring like minded people with geeky interests together socially. A Geek group; by Geeks, for Geeks.

Georgetown Geeks & Gamers is a local not for profit gaming club serving Georgetown, Acton, Milton, Mississauga and Brampton. The club was founded September 5th 2010 by Jason Kolodziejczak to meet people in the local area with similar interests and foster the gaming and geek culture. We have seen the club grow steadily since the initial founding and hope to see that growth continue in the future. Ultimately we are a small but friendly group getting together to play some games.

We are open to members new and old, of varying interests and gaming experience. We approximately once a month to play and/or discuss various geek and game related topics.

Games and topics are selected monthly, with each member having a chance to partake in the activities or host a game or seminar.
Typical events include;

Board & Card Games: Card games like Munchkin, Magic the Gathering, and board games like Catan, Talisman, Heroquest, Dungeon Quest, and Risk 2210.
RPG: Small 1 to 2 hour play sessions for members to experience a variety of role playing games and rule systems.
Tabletop: Smaller skirmishes for members to play in games like Heroscape, Warhammer, or even Brik Wars.
Retrocade: A day to relive the heyday of classic arcades such as Pac-Man and Space Invaders.
Modelling & Painting: Members can learn about tips & techniques for miniature war gaming and/or participate in workshops.
